Strategy

Throughout the building, semi-outdoor spaces become welcome areas of respite for campus occupants. Atelier Ten helped the team condition these through the use of solar shading, displacement ventilation using relief air from conditioned spaces, and plant transpiration. Atelier Ten also performed perimeter daylight analysis and façade solar control studies to fine tune the façade glazing selection and shading design.
