Strategy

A key aim of the development was to provide an exemplar of a new sustainable community scheme which provides the residents with a vibrant and creative place to live, work, learn and play. Combining architectural excellence with sound environmental concepts was at the core of the overall design.

Atelier Ten developed the sustainable strategies with the aim of combining social, economic and environmental sustainability in all aspects of the design process. Low energy consumption through sensible planning and building services design, alternative energy generation through CHP and solar power and low impact solutions on water and material consumption from the main elements of our sustainable design for this site.
