Catherine Nueva Espana

Associate, San Francisco

Catherine was the first administrative staff member for Atelier Ten US in New York and has since helped the firm with the opening and administration of the firm’s branch offices. She provides general oversight on business development, office administration, legal compliance, and human resources for Atelier Ten and serves as an advisor to the firm’s national and international board of directors.

Catherine has been interviewed in California Home and Design, the NY Daily News, the Epoch Times and The New Republic and has given talks at the California College of Art and at the Cooper Union. She is also active in the AIA’s San Francisco chapter, having served on its Legacy Committee for the 2009 National Convention, and is currently a member of its Communications Committee.

She holds an MA in Dance Studies from Laban Centre London and a BA in History and in Women’s Studies from Wellesley College.
