Strategy

Atelier Ten worked closely with the team during the project’s design phases to integrate environmental design closely into the fabric of the building. Extensive climate and daylight analyses of the site led to recommendations of proposed sustainable design measures to achieve the project’s ambitious goal to reduce the Center’s environmental footprint.

The design encourages use of bicycles and public transportation and will implement an appropriate and well-integrated stormwater management system. The Center will also be optimized for reduced energy consumption. Currently, Atelier Ten is benchmarking the project against the LEED rating system, as construction is completed.
