Environmental Designer

Marta Bouchard was voted to be on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Green Building Council Chapter, serving a three-year term beginning January 2012 through 2014. Marta first joined the Connecticut Green Building Council in 2009 and immediately became an active member of the Education Committee, developing and cultivating environmental design learning opportunities for the Connecticut green building community. She helped establish the first sustainable design courses and workshops for the CTGBC membership and continues to bring a creative and thoughtful approach to initiating new educational events while maintaining established programs. Also a member of the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE), Marta is familiar with adapting to and evolving with the green-building industry in order to serve the local green building design and construction community.

As an Environmental Designer for Atelier Ten, Marta manages projects that integrate sustainable design principles with her knowledge of interior environments and the architectural design process. She provides environmental design and LEED consulting services for commercial and institutional projects, including libraries, university housing, academic and conference facilities. Marta is a LEED AP, holds a NCIDQ Certificate and received her BS from Cornell University in Design and Environmental Analysis.
